Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and a great choice, well presented and hot. As it was my husband’s birthday on the morning we had breakfast Betty and Ian had put a birthday banner on our table with a birthday card which was a lovely touch. Would definitely return to this guest house again.Posted on TripadvisorVerified A lovely stay A lovely 1 night stay.Ian and Betty are warm, friendly and go out of their way to ensure your stay is great!..The room we had was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable with quality linen and was very quiet. We chose our breakfast when we arrived and we were not disappointed in what we had. In fact it was delicious and the choice was good. Toast, cereals, fruit,juices, tea, coffee ,yoghurts and full English with jams to choose from. We would definitely return. Also their garden is beautiful and parking is no issue at all. Excellent meet and greet (sorry I didn’t get the joke but it was a long cycle ride…) and we were very well looked after at every stage- and our bikes too! Very handy for all amenities (pub, fish and chip shop, and the front), and then getting back on the cycle route. Great with our kids who really opened up to them. Facilities are fantastic, cleanliness is really good. The breakfast was first class with such a wide selection and premium produce. The breakfast was exceptional, the black pudding was the first I have had that was perfectly cooked, even I as a highly qualified chef have never managed that feat. Our stay was great.
