“Great hosts, fantastic breakfast, lovely home”
Ian and Betty greeted us and introduced themselves when we arrived - we completed the necessary paperwork for covid and a breakfast tick list (which was quickly dealt with by my husband) our room was number 6 at the top of this lovely house. The room was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. There were fresh fluffy towels with a chocolate on each set - the bed was comfy - good storage in the room with fluffy white bathrobes and slippers and shelving in the bathroom. There was a face towel and soap, air freshener, body wash and shampoo available. Tea and coffee (also decaf and hot chocolate) making facility with biscuits and bottled water. Wine glasses were supplied. Great nights sleep - we kept the window open so the seagulls squawking woke us early but we wanted an early alarm anyway. The breakfast was excellent. Everything you could want, cooked and presented beautifully. My husband had got distracted and didn’t complete my tick list properly on arrival so after some banter with the owners and other guests they swiftly went the extra mile to sort out the mistake and provided a beautiful full English breakfast for me. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Will definitely not hesitate to stay here again - thank you
